Terms and conditions for The Divergence trading competition

Introduction
The Z-Score trading competition (the “Competition”) offered by Zeta Protocol Platform Corp (“Zeta”) is subject to these official terms (the “Competition Terms”) and by entering the Competition you accept and agree to be bound by these Competition Terms and the applicable law. Please read these Competition Terms carefully before you participate in the Competition.
In order to participate in the Competition you must agree to the Terms and Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) and the Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”). If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy, then you should immediately stop using or accessing the Website (as defined in the Terms and Conditions).
Competition period
The Competition starts on 10 October 2023 at 00:00 UTC and ends on 23 October 2023 at 23:59 UTC (the “Competition Period”). Engaging in any trading activity before or after the Competition Period will not result in receiving any benefits, rewards or prizes from the Competition. Zeta determines in its sole discretion when a Competition Period is deemed to have started and ended.
Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the Competition, at the time and date of entry and during the entire length of the Competition:
If you are participating in the Competition as an individual, then you should be of legal age in the jurisdiction in which you reside and must have the legal capacity to enter into these Competition Terms;
If you are participating in the Competition as an entity, then you must have the legal authority to accept these Competition Terms on such entity’s behalf;
You must not be an Excluded Person (as defined in the Terms and Conditions); and
Only one (1) account person may be used to participate in the Competition.
Zeta reserves the right to limit or refuse your eligibility to participate in the Competition for any reason at its sole discretion, including where your participation is prohibited by applicable laws. If Zeta becomes aware of any violation of these Competition Terms or the Terms and Conditions, Zeta may elect to, among other things: (i) prohibit you from using the Website (as defined in the Terms and Conditions); or (ii) disqualify you from the competition which could include withholding, amending or canceling the benefits, rewards or prizes of the Competition.
Ranking
Your leaderboard ranking will be determined by your Z-Score, a cumulative score earnt by participants that trade on the platform. More information about how to earn Zapps can be found in our docs.
Competition Prizes
There will be two prize pools each consisting of 2,000 USDC and 160,000 Zapps for the Competition Period, the first will awarded to the participants with highest Z-Score obtained between 10 October 2023 at 00:00 UTC and 16 October 2023 at 23:59 UTC , the second will be awarded to the participants with highest Z-Score obtained between 17 October 2023 at 00:00 UTC and 23 October 2023 at 23:59 UTC.
Zeta reserves the right to revise the prizes, prize eligibility criteria or prize allocation processes.
If you are allocated a prize you must claim your prize, by providing the necessary delivery or other details, within thirty (30) calendar days of the date you are notified of your prize allocation. Notification will be made through Backpack. If you do not claim your prize within this thirty (30) day period, the prize may be forfeited at Zeta's sole discretion.
Prohibition of Market Manipulation
You agree to abide by ethical trading practices. Any form of market manipulation, including but not limited to wash trading, is prohibited. If you are found to be involved in any such activities, then Zeta may disqualify you from the Competition at its sole discretion.
Competition Administration
Zeta reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the Competition at any time with or without prior notice or consent. Zeta further reserves the right to amend, withhold or cancel any Competition rewards, benefit or prizes granted if Zeta becomes aware of any violation of these Competition Terms or the Terms and Conditions. Administration of the Competition is at the sole discretion of Zeta, subject to the applicable laws. Any questions relating to eligibility, these Competition Terms or the Competition will be resolved at Zeta’s sole discretion and its decision will be final and binding.
If it is discovered by Zeta that you have or have attempted to violate these Competition Terms or the Terms and Conditions, then Zeta may disqualify you from the Competition at its sole discretion. Should a member of a participating team be disqualified for any reason, such disqualification will not affect the eligibility of the remaining team members to continue in the Competition. The disqualified member's actions will be considered independently of the team's overall performance and conduct.
Privacy
By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge and agree that any personal information that you provide will be maintained in accordance with the Privacy Policy. By participating in the Competition you hereby (i) grant Zeta the right to use your name, country of residence, email address and any other information you provide to Zeta (“Personal Information”) for the purpose of administering the Competition; (ii) grant Zeta, subject to your advance consent, the right to use your Personal Information for publicity, promotion, marketing and advertising purposes relating to the Competition, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised without further compensation unless prohibited by Applicable Laws; and (iii) acknowledge that Zeta may disclose your Personal Information to its third-party agents and service provides in connection with administering the Competition in particular for the purpose of distributing any prizes. Zeta will use your personal Information only for identified purposes and as contemplated in the Privacy Policy.
Release of Liability
You agree to release and hold harmless Zeta and its officers, directors, employees, partners, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, suppliers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participating in the Competition. You agree that Zeta and its officers directors, employees, partners, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, suppliers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and agents are not liable for injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participating in the Competition and acceptance, possession and use of the benefits, rewards or prizes of the Competition. Zeta is not responsible for any typographic or other error in the publication of the offer or the administration of the Competition or announcement thereof.
Taxes
You will be solely reasonable for all income tax liabilities that arise from or in any way related to any benefit, reward or prize that Zeta conveys to you, including income taxes, sales, personal property, use, VAT, excise, withholding and self-employment taxes.
Miscellaneous
Zeta may revise these Competition Terms, including any prizes and publish amended versions from time to time.
